thinkrun Holdings Co., Ltd., thinkrun Co., Ltd., and their respective group companies (hereinafter referred to as “Our Group”) have established the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as this “Policy”) regarding the protection of personal information (excluding personal identification numbers; hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information”) entrusted to Our Group and shall handle Personal Information appropriately in accordance with this Policy and strive to maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of Personal Information and to make appropriate use of Personal Information.

Our Group shall acquire and use Personal Information within the scope of the following purposes (hereinafter referred to as “Purposes of Use”):

* Please note that in the case of employment screening, any documents you submit (such as resumes or transcripts) shall not be returned.
2. Provision of Personal Information
Our Group shall not provide your provided Personal Information to third parties without your prior consent, except in the following cases:
- (1) When it is required by laws and regulations;
- (2) When it is necessary to protect human life, physical safety, or property, and obtaining the consent of the individual concerned is difficult;
- (3) When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the sound development of children, and obtaining your consent is difficult;
- (4) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local public entity, or a person entrusted thereby in the performance of duties stipulated by laws and regulations, and obtaining your consent would likely hinder the performance of such duties; or
- (5) Other cases permitted by laws and regulations.
3. Secure Control of Personal Information
Our Group shall strive to maintain the accuracy and up-to-datedness of your Personal Information within the scope necessary to achieve the Purposes of Use stated in 1 above. In addition, Our Group shall take necessary and appropriate security control measures to prevent the leakage, loss, and damage of handled Personal Information and to ensure the secure control of Personal Information. Furthermore, if the above Purpose 1. (4) applies, the Personal Information shall be disposed of or deleted in an appropriate manner after the relevant employment screening process is completed.
4. Confirmation, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
If you request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of Personal Information held by Our Group, Our Group shall respond promptly, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, after verifying your identity and the reason for your request.
